Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English heritage is her mother. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. After living within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatizing and that she didn't learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands to Hill House. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. After 16 she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to be an actor.
