Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa was a vocalist in the metalcore band from Canada, The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish melody-death metal band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31st in 1985) is an Canadian singer and songwriter, who is most famous for her role as lead singer of the Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy, and former the lead singer and founding member of the Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. She sings with a grunt and a growl. (clean vocals) are part of her style of singing. However, she's mainly a part of the metalcore genre and melodic death metal and metalcore, she has performed as the guest vocalist of power metal, symphonic metal and deathcore bands, notably Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf in addition to performing live with Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz (2004-2014). In 2004 White-Gluz with co-members Danny Marino, Chris Kells created the band The Agonist The Agonist in Montreal, Quebec. She released three albums with The Agonist as the lead vocalist.White-Gluz has left the Agonist during the spring of 2014 when she was offered the position of vocalist with Arch Enemy.
